Since the first market entry of a coating line in China in 1979, Eisenmann has achieved a great success in this most dynamic market and is regarded as one of the top brands in the surface finishing industry, among other Eisenmann businesses today.

In the past three decades, Eisenmann has steadily developed its capabilities and capacities. In the early years until 2002, Eisenmann China was focused a role as a local sales office, to the extent of offering sales and service support. The second stage of development was represented by the founding of Eisenman(Shanghai)Co.,Ltd, in year 2003, where AS and GF business units were established for targeted projects and service opportunities in China market.

With the establishment of the Fengxian assembly shop in 2009, Eisenmann recognized the ever increasing market demand of project execution localization. In a strategic decision in 2011, Eisenmann strengthened its market position in acquiring Hightec Company, a well regarded surface finishing system supplier based in Kunshan, China.

The merger enables Eisenmann to strengthen its core competitiveness in covering different local market segments, such General Finishing business and improve its order execution capabilities. As of year 2013, a closely integrated organization including AS, GF, ET, PHT, CS, SV business units had been established, incorporated with functions such as design, purchasing, manufacturing, project management, human resources, controlling and finance, service.

Being proud of its transformation from a 3-staff sales office to a national full scope company amounting to nearly 400 qualified employees, Eisenmann China has now with comprehensive capabilities and capacities in China market, comprising of main office, and manufacturing shops in Kunshan and Shanghai, and two regional sales offices in Changchun and Fuzhou. The most recent development plan for Eisenmann China in next three years including a green-field facility in Shanghai to provide both office space and manufacturing shops.
