BMPT Water-based Paint Modification Project Was Successfully Put into Production

On July 1, 2022, the BMPT water-based paint modification project, undertaken by Eisenmann Shanghai, was successfully put into production. The project was successfully completed and achieved SOP according to the scheduled shutdown plan.

BMPT is in Caiyu Economic Development Zone, Daxing District, Beijing auto parts production base. The main business of the company is automobile bumper assembly, threshold and side rail assembly, automobile pillar decorative parts and other automobile interior and exterior decoration products. Its key customers are BAIC Benz, Beijing Hyundai, BAIC Motor, Beiqi Foton, and BAIC-based OEMs in the Bohai Rim region. As a modular exterior decoration system supplier with core competitiveness, it is to provide high-quality and low-cost products. With the rapid development of BAIC Group, BMPT has continuously improved its capabilities of design and development, manufacturing, operating and profitability.

The original project was built by Eisenmann. To further improve the productivity, the original painting workshop was upgraded and transformed from the original solvent-based paint to the dual-mode automatic switching spraying of solvent-based and water-based paint. The modification mainly includes the modification of the oven system, the modification of the topcoat spray booth system, and the modification of the cooling and flash-off air conditioning system. This modification introduced the advanced Eisenmann paint mist capture system — E-Cube，which has many advantages such as energy saving, environmental protection, easy maintenance, and simple operation compared with the original Venturi system.

This modification project is of compact construction space, big difficulty, and tight project schedule. During the implementation of the project, the epidemic situation in the whole country can be described as one wave after another. In the early design, manufacturing and procurement stages, the epidemic situation in Kunshan and Shanghai was serious. During the construction stage of the project, an epidemic occurred in Beijing. During this period, the logistics was stagnant, and the personnel flow was difficult, resulting in a shortage of people and materials on the project site. The epidemic always blocks the progress of the project one step in advance. However, Eisenmann team worked together and spared no efforts to overcome various difficulties and deliver the equipment to the customer as planned and required. The hard work of Eisenmann team has been recognized by the customer, and a pennant with the title of "Excellent Partner for the Paint Line Modification of the First Factory" is presented to Eisenman. The pennant is the crystallization of the labor and sweat of the Eisenmann team, and it is also the affirmation of Eisenman's ability from the customer.

From whichever direction the winds leap, we remain strong, though dealt many a blow. Eisenmann team will, as always, take the requirements of the customer as the purpose, with high quality and efficiency, and successfully finish the tasks delivered by the customer.
