Recently, Eisenmann successfully won the bid for the painting line for trial production workshop of Anhui Volkswagen R&D Center. The project is located in the Anhui Volkswagen R&D Center. After the painting line is completed, from small parts and add-ons to drivable entire vehicles can be tested in this workshop for paint drying.
Due to the flexible production requirements of the trial production workshop of the R&D center, Eisenmann provides a variety of advanced customized production equipment, such as multifunctional spray booth, light detection, dust collection system and so on, to ensure that the painting line can meet the stable and variable production conditions.
The local R&D capability of Anhui Volkswagen is the key to the electrification transformation of Volkswagen Group. Anhui Volkswagen R&D center integrates R&D, quality assurance, prototype vehicle manufacturing and comprehensive testing. The main building of the first phase of the project has been completed and put into use at the end of 2020. The battery and auto parts workshop and the trial production center are currently under construction and are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2022. Anhui Volkswagen plans to have more than 700 R&D personnel with rich industry experience by the end of this year.
Anhui Volkswagen R&D center is a critical part of the global R&D network of Volkswagen Group, which will greatly improve the R&D capacity of Anhui Volkswagen and inject new impetus into the e-moving strategy of Volkswagen Group. Anhui Volkswagen will have greater flexibility and autonomy in R&D.
