Eisenmann China concluded and entered into an automatic painting line contract for aluminum wheels on Marth13th, 2015 with Dicastal North America Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CITIC Dicastal Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Dicastal”). The total contract value amounts to US$ 26 million, which serves as the largest cooperation program between EISENAMNN China and Dicastal up to now. It symbols a new era of overseas business for EN China.
CITIC Dicastal Group, headquartered in Qinhuangdao, about 400km northeast of Beijing, is the first aluminum wheels manufacturer in Mainland China with 17 subsidiaries across the country. Since 2008, Dicastal has ranked No. 1 in the world market in term of the sales volume of aluminum wheels and become the only Chinese enterprise listed in the top 100 global auto parts suppliers.
Eisenmann China has delivered two premium automatic wheel painting lines since 2012 to Dicastal’s Joint Venture and wholly-owned subsidiary located in Binzhou, Shandong and Ningbo, Zhejiang respectively. This newly awarded order will be implemented in Dicastal’s 1st manufacturing plant out of China, located at Greenville, Michigan of USA, with a total investment of nearly 140 million US Dollars. As soon as the facility is put into operation, Dicastal will be better positioned to serve directly its top-grade clients such as GM, FORD and DCAG in North American region.
This new painting line is designed for a capacity of 450 wheels per hour, with the overall deliveries including a pretreatment line with 16 stages, a primer powder line, a liquid line with two wet spray booths and one bake oven and a transparent powder line, to be equipped with TO system with heat recovery and 9 robots with grippers for automatic wheel transfer. In addition, the classical overhead conveyor type 602 and spindle conveyor system will be applied as well. The project execution was already under way and the first batch of wheels is scheduled to pass through the system on 1st March, 2016.
