Eisenmann
A ground breaking ceremony was held in Kunshan new plant on April 21st to mark and celebrate the beginning of the Kunshan relocation project. More than 40 guests made their pleasure to attend this festive event. They are Eisenmann China management team members, local officials as well as representatives from project management and general contractor.
"After more than 3 years of planning, investigating, negotiating and hard work, the ground breaking ceremony for Kunshan new plant marked a significant moment for Eisenmann China, and Eisenmann Group" said Eric Liu at his speech.
Kunshan relocation project could be traced back to 2012, when the land use right for the existing facility has been taken back to Zhangpu government because of local economic development plan. Therefore headquarter set up a project team immediately to response to this situation and seek a new location. After investigations and negotiations with different local governments, the new plant with a total area of 48,000m2 was relocated at German Industry Park in Zhangpu town, which is about 7 kilometers away from the current site.
The new facility is designated to build up a state-of-the-art manufacturing shop and integrate existing facility in Fengxian into new site, which will definitely increase the production capacity and extend the Eisenmann global production map in following years.
The construction work is expected to be completed by January of 2017. As Mr. Wang, Party Secretary of Zhangpu town stressed at his final speech, "it’s not only a key project for Eisenmann, but also the biggest project of German company in Zhangpu town, we’re looking forward to seeing a sustainable and energy- efficient new plant to contribute to the economic growth of Zhangpu town."
