Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage project plans;
- Build project team and assign individual responsibilities internally and lead the team;
- Responsible for all phases of project execution and making sure projects are progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards;
- Day to day management of resources and progress;
- Coordinate all resources and stakeholders (externally with customers, suppliers; internally with sales, engineering, purchasing, quality, logistic, installation & service teams);
- Hold regular meetings with project team to monitor status of the projects, deal with problems, make improvements and achieve desired results;
- Monthly report to Director of PM and to the controlling in Germany, major problems and ongoing issues and finance forecast.
- Support colleagues and accepting specific responsibility for key tasks as requested;
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or above in project management, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or other technical major;
- 8+ years working experience with minimum 3 years of project management; Experience in managing the budget for projects in excess of 50 million CNY;
- Has leadership ability, strong team management;
- Hands on personality, constructive minded, self motivated;
- Well organized and structured working style;
- Good written and spoken English skills - weighting is 50% Mandarin and 50% English;
- Acceptable Microsoft Project software skill;
- Capable of reading the drawings like flow chart, layout, etc.
- Capable of working under medium stress.
- Proficient with Project Management tools (costs, timing, quality control), PMP, PMI certificates is plus;
- Good experience as project manager in design and construction of paint or conveyor systems in China;
- Good understanding of equipments used in pretreatment, Electrocoat, powder paint, liquid spray paint and material handling;
- Good understanding of equipments like air supply, conveyor, oven, RTO, TNV, etc.;
- Experience in facilitating agreement and working collaboratively in defining system parameter and solving complex problems.
- Able to use AutoCAD or Microstation.
- Experience in Process, Maintenance, Planning, Installation, and Commissioning of the equipments or system above-mentioned.
